Summer School with Debbie Bartholomew

Debbie hardly needs an introduction to most of our members; a Level 3 teacher, Debbie has been teaching Iyengar Yoga for over 27 years and now teaches full time after working for 24 years in the building trade as a builders’ merchant, teaching at MDIY and across Yorkshire and Lancashire.  Debbie teaches all levels, from beginners to teachers, but particularly enjoys teaching beginners as they have so much enthusiasm. She has been taught by both BKS Iyengar and Geeta Iyengar.

As well as the value of her own personal experiences with yoga, Debbie brings enormous enthusiasm and warmth, and is an extremely popular teacher – we recommend booking early!

Preference will be given to those booking the full weekend.  Booking for single days will open at end of July, if there are places remaining.

Conditions of booking and attending the event: 

It is essential that you inform us or Debbie Bartholomew of any serious illness or injury in the days (or weeks) leading up to this event.  Do not leave it until the day.

Online booking closes the day before the event.

We use PayPal to process transactions, however you can use ANY debit/credit card to pay – choose the “Guest User” option on the payment page and you will be asked for your card details.

MDIY members: If you only see the non-member rates, this means you are not logged in properly; please try logging in again. If this doesn’t work, please email webmaster@mdiiy.org.uk.

Non-members: You need to be logged in to book; please create a (free) basic account to book classes/events.

Attending  an in-person event:

If you have not booked online but want to check whether you can come on the day, please call Clare on 07747200411

Payment is required in advance.  You can pay with cash or a card on the door (if there are places available); but you will not be able to attend the class without payment.  If you do need to pay on the door, please arrive at least 10 minutes before the published event start time, to minimise disruption during the class.

We will close the building 20 mins after the event finishes.

We will not tolerate behaviour that our members or volunteers find intimidating or inappropriate, including refusing to leave when asked.  We reserve the right to remove membership and/or refuse future entry in the event of such behaviour.
