Jayne Orton is the director of the Iyengar yoga institute of Birmingham. She started practising Iyengar yoga in 1975 and has been visiting India regularly to study with B.K.S. Iyengar, his son Prashant and daughter Geeta since 1982. She was awarded a senior level certificate in 2000 and is the central region's most experienced teacher of the Iyengar method. |
